k1ttycatMy insurance agent just called. She wanted to make sure I knew that the Registry of Motor Vehicles is no longer sending notifications of renewal of drivers licenses. So, if you depended on receiving a notification to renew your drivers license, don't. Check your license and make sure it doesn't need to be renewed, and keep track of your renewal date. She says that police officers are now pulling people over and giving tickets for these invalid driver's licenses, and not knowing it needed to be renewed is not being allowed as a defense.
