It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Oh my God, I can't believe we pulled everything together for this party. My tree is up and lighted, my bird ornament (which Glenn hates) is chirping away, I have christmas music playing, my singning 12 days of christmas clock is on the wall. All I can say is holy crap. It really feels like christmas with my AC having been on high all night long. I have a few more things to do today, mostly things that had to wait for the last minute, but otherwise all is good. I have already been out this morning, and I almost died laughing. I felt as if I were going to lose a little of my sanity to the culture shock. I walked from the cold of my apartment out into the summer heat, saw the leaves on the trees, and went to a farmers market. I almost broke!! But man, planning this has been so much fun. :-D I feel so geeky doing this, and it feels good. It's been so long since I have just thrown a party just because I wanted to. Life it good, my heart is pounding with exciting. It's like being 10 and waking up on christmas morning to see a new bike under the tree.
