So, how long has it been since I've updated my LiveJournal? Feels like forever. Life's been a little on the busy side. Or it could just be my own darn laziness getting in the way of doing the simple things like updating, calling friends, or visiting family. Yeah, definitely laziness. I'll just need to try harder. I am hoping that the spring will motivate me a little more... if it ever gets here.

So, let's see, what's been happening? Well, my laptop finally got on my last nerve. For over a month now, it had a problem charging. Glenn and I thought it might be the charger itself, and replaced it,but the problem persisted. We could get it to charge if we wiggled it around in just the right spot, propped the cord up with post it notes and didn't move it in the slightest. Definately not my cup of tea. So, we called Dell, and they told us our warrenty had been up for 2 months. Go figure. They said because the charging part is connected right to the motherboard, they would have the replace the whole board. After taking the laptop apart, Glenn and I decided we would go get a new laptop. So, I am now the proud owner of a new expensive toy. :-D Along with a few extra nifty electronic things that Glenn got on sale at Comp USA's anniversary sale.

Work has been so darn busy lately. I only now have a little time to breathe, now that the company finally hired a new admin. asst. It's nice. But, a mass. judgment coordinator position has come open, and I have applied for it. I have already written my paper (yes I had a writing assignment) and had my interview. So, wish me luck. There are three people trying for the position, including me. I have about an equal chance at it. This is one of the things that has been keeping me busy at least these last two weeks.) I also am not friends with my coworker Jenny anymore. (some may know her from my thanksgiving dinner) She wanted me to train the new girl her way, and when I refused, started telling me she has been told that I hadn't been doing my job correctly. She didn't expect me to confront my boss (I needed to check, because I really really want this promotion, and didn't want anything in the way) and my boss was shocked, and said straight out that it sounded like Jenny was just trying to get under my skin. As this isn't the first time she had fibbed, I decided it was the last straw. I can't be lied to. It's the worse thing any friend can do to me. And I also wont stand for it. So, while we are remaining professional, that's about all that's left. I am a little on the stressed side, but I am hoping once I know the outcome of this promotion thing, everything will be better (regardless of my boss' decision.)

OK, I will have to deal with the laughs and taunts, but I have recently started selling Avon (like 3 weeks ago) and I am really enjpoying it. Even with the time and effort it requires, it is currently the most relaxing thing going on in my life (outside of just cuddling with Glenn) No, I am not doing it to make money. I am able to get products for myself and for gifts at a discounted price. And you would be surprised how much people seem to love Avon. (Especially the old ladies at my church) So, it's fun. :-P So there! No teasing me. :-P

Now, I know I promised a number of times to get my pictures shared. I really haven't had time, and with my laptop probs things have not always worked according to plan. So, given a little more time I WILL be sharing pics from Christmas, New Years, and whatever else is sitting on my old laptop before I give it to my Mom. Mom's never had a laptop and always wanted one, so she is willing to drive herself nuts playing with the charger. I am not. :-P

Now, time for bed.
