So, I may be a wittness to a crime, or at least to the man who may have committed the crime. This morning, on my way into work, there was a man who opened the door. I thought he was holding it open for me, but he tried to get in at the same time as me. He let me go first, then as I was walking up the stairs, he was trying to get passed me. I went in the door on my floor, and he went up the next flight. I forgot about him, until a bunch of police officers walked in 20 minutes later asking if anyone saw a man who didn't belong come in, about 6' some-odd tall. I came out of my office and said that I had. They took a description and my contact information in case they needed me. The guy was over 6'tall, very thin, wearing sweats, and I think a jacket over it (the sleeve had a colored stripe on it). he had shoulder-legnth, firty blond hair I think. and he looked to be in a rush. that's all that stuck on me. Glenn probably saw him too, being he dropped me off and was parked right in front of the door. I'm just glad the guy didn't get impatient and shove me down the stairs or anything. :-P And yes, while talking to the police I got shaky and goose-bumpy.

UPDATE: The police are pretty sure it was the man I saw, because upstairs there was another break-in and the guy got away with a couple of laptops.

as if today couldn't get any worse, someone stole and ate my leftover pork rib and stuffed mushrooms I brought for lunch. they only left me the lid from my rubbermaid container. (not someone from my company, the second floor of my bulding shares a communal kitchen with like 10 other companies). I am so sad though.

So, aparantly, I need to stop complaining about my lunch going missing. One of my coworkers cannot find her purse. She definitely had it this morning, because she took money out to give to Kathy to go for coffee. And now it's gone. We just all looked everywhere, especially in the spot she keeps it (under her desk). She's the receptionist, so her desk is right by the front door. And we didn't lock it until after the police were here, because we didn't know anything was going on. Odds are it was the same guy that was stealing laptops. ::sigh:: she is going around cursing all over the office right now. I don't blame her. I hope she gets her credit cards canceled right away.
