Creepy Callers
Oct. 9th, 2006 11:53 amI just had a creepy phone call from a patient. He talked about things like being arrested for carrying a weapon, and how he wasn't afraid to walk the streets, and how he was taught how to get things done for himself. Of course, I asked him if he was looking for medical records (since that's what we do here) and he said yes. He said he wanted me to fax him the form we need, and proceeded to give me his address instead of a fax number. He asked for our address (which I gave him because he needs to send the form back to us). He then asks "So, what do you do for fun?" I told him that wasn't relevant to obtaining his medical records, and he was like "Oh, so you have a boyfriend". He made comments about coming to Massachusetts, and how I should go to Albany. I advised him that I would send the form out to him and that he would need to send it back, then hung up. Unfortunately, not before he had made me feel uncomfortable. Serves me right for having a sexy phone voice. I often forget to make myself sound like a shrill bitch.
Oh yeah, he also told me his name, and insisted I knew who he was. When I said I didn't, he said "yeah you do, but don't worry about that for now".
