This weekend
Dec. 11th, 2006 01:59 pmI had a really nice weekend. Friday was my company's big meeting and holiday dinner. They took us to Newport, RI and paid for hotel rooms for everyone for the night. The meeting was boring, but the dinner was very nice, with a coctail hour, and then a nice meal. Afterwards, my boss bought us drinks at the bar. Then, a bunch of us girls met up in one of the hotel rooms and drank wine, ordered pizza and had girl talk. It was so much fun. I got teased a lot all weekend about my christmas enthusiasm.
On Saturday, Glenn and I walked around the town, and did a little shopping. It is so lovely there by the water, and a lot of the shops are just adorable. The christmas decorations were cute too. It was some nice Glenn and me time.
On Sunday, since we left my sister at the house alone, bored, we went to Chunky's and saw Unacompanied Minors. We sat on cushy leather seats, had dinner and watched the movie.
I had fun.
