So busy....
Mar. 8th, 2007 09:18 amI am so behind on reading LJ, I can't believe it. If I've missed anything important, I am so sorry.
Things have been kind of hectic for me. My sister living with us didn't work out. I am just not a fighter and I couldn't handle arguing with her about everything. Whether it was keeping her room clean, not staying awake on the computer until 5AM, or going out and trying to get a job. The thing is, she completely ignored all the things we agreed on for her to be able to stay with us once she was here. I felt if I just ignored it, and didn't have her suffer the consequence we also agreed on, we wouldn't be doing her a favor. So, we brought her home, and broke her heart, which in turn broke mine. I don't know if I did the right thing. I keep feeling guilty.
Besides all that, I have been very busy at work. Leave it to me to ask for more responsibilities. I gave myself a promotion the other day, without a pay raise. I am now officially the customer service supervisor, as well as head of collections, because I am too darn efficient. But hey, I'm still working from home 3 days a week, so I guess I can't complain too much.
My in-laws are coming tomorrow to do some work on the house. We're planning on working on the spare bedroom.
