So, I am not going to post about family crap today. Today is all about me.

I finally got my butt back to weight watchers again. I just have to stick with it this time. To help me with my weight loss efforts, I also decided to join a gym. It's $20/month, but if all goes according to plan it should be well worth it. I went last night for the first time and had the free personal training session they offer. The trainer's arm was as thick as my thigh, and I have some big thighs.

He worked my legs and abs so hard, I can hardly believe it. I was barely able to walk out of the gym last night, and almost fell to my knees walking up the stairs. I don't mind though. It will only make me stronger.

Of course training guy tried to talk me into taking on weekly training sessions. It costs $160/m for the cheapest package they offer, which is 1 session per week. No thank you. I think I can handle it on my own. I am not looking to train hardcore, I just want to burn some extra calories to help with weight watchers, and maybe add a little muscle to make the little things easier (like carrying grocery bags and working on the house). The trick for me is to stay motivated. I'm really great at starting things enthusiastically. It's finishing them I have a problem with. Wish me luck.
