Pediatricians
Sep. 3rd, 2008 09:50 amI went to interview a pediatrician yesterday afternoon, and was disappointed. I was in the waiting room for 45 minutes for a 5 minute consult, the doctor has only been doctoring for a year (which wouldn't be awful, but she also had a lot of "I don't know, I am still really new" answers, and their hospital affiliation is with Lawrence General Hospital (which I have been to, and hated). I also didn't get one smile, or a bit of conversation out of the receptionists or nurses. They just put me in the far back waiting area and left me there for the 45 minutes.
I made an appointment to interview another pediatrician on 9/24, and at nearly the end of the call was advised that the doctor I was interviewing is due to have her baby right after me. "sigh"
I emailed my neighbor across the street to find out where she takes her kids and how she likes them. When I am at my OB tomorrow I plan on asking the nurses there if they have any that they particularly like.
In other news I went to the chiropractor, and my neck isn't hurting as bad, and I don't seem to have a headache, so maybe it helped some. Unfortunately, I still have lower back pain, but I didn't really expect a miracle with that since I am 30 weeks pregnant.
