Things are moving fast...

k1ttycatSo, things fell apart with the house we were going to buy. The man selling refused to let us have a Mason in the house to see the chimney problems up close so we could get a more accurate estimate. My thoughts are, he was afraid we would find out it was too expensive and pull our offer, or we would try to get more money out of him. Regardless, he left me with the impression he was hiding something, and Glenn and I decided not to take the house.
Thursday night we went and looked at two houses in Haverhill we had looked at previously (his parents and my Mom came) and we decided to put an offer on another house, which has been accepted. We are so moving our butts on this though since we are still trying for the June 24 closing. We are signing the Purchase and Sale agreement tonight, and our mortgage lady is rushing everything along for us. (we've been faxing back and forth all day it seems). If all goes well, we will have a major move date on July 23. I am going to hire movers (helpers really, since they are cheaper then an actual moving company)so that no one has to drag furniture up and down stairs this time around.
I am so much less stressed this time around. Much more relaxed. I wont be posting it on LJ, so if anyone wants to know my new address and phone number when everything is finalized, you should drop me an email at Cathleen.Townsend@Gmail.com.
